Outings are your chance to advance! Below are listed the possible awards you can earn credit towards on the listed events. Click on the patch to see the requirements to earn the award. If the EVENT has a question mark, the EVENT is being proposed as a possible event. If the only the DATE has a question mark, the event will happen, we are only trying to pick a DATE.
What can it count towards? All events count towards rank advancement. Others may also help you earn an additional award.	Event & Sign up Forms. If you see this Venture symbol, it is an opportunity to "take things up a notch" for the higher ranking Scouts. You need the Scoutmaster's permission to attend.

Permission: In consideration of the benefits to be derived, we waive all claims against Scout Troop 885 and it's leaders, the Local and National Councils, or their representatives, on account of any accident, illness, or other damage that may occur on this outing. By clicking "Send To Webmaster" the parent or guardian hereby agrees with the statement above and authorizes any Scout leader in charge to secure emergency medical treatment, including necessary hospitalization, anesthesia, injection, surgery, and routine non-surgical medical care for the Scout named above. The parent or guardian will be notified immediately if emergency medical or sugical treatment has been furnished. Where did you spend last night, in your room?

We've slept in an Army Barracks, In an Air National Guard Base, next to Indian burial grounds..., 1,179' up on a mountain top..., on several lake islands..., a river sandbar island..., 966' deep inside in a cave..., even underwater on a WWII submarine!

Scouts don't sit home saying "I'm bored, there's nothing to do", they plan outings and then do them!
